How much maintenance do AC units need?
Once installed, we recommend a yearly service. This is required to ensure manufacturer's warranty is maintained. In some commercial environments, a 6 monthly service may be required.
A service takes approximately 1 hour per indoor unit. Included is a service report, which contains a visual inspection, cleaning checklist, and testing schedule.
If maintained, it's rare for a system to have a malfunction in it's expected lifetime. In the event of a fault, we provide an estimate time and cost for diagnosis, then quote for repair. With a minimum charge of one hour.
